My name is Sheri and I was literally born on the streets of Moscow during a cold, cold February. Somebody put me and my other brothers and sisters in a box outside right after we were born. A nice lady named Valeria found us and took us home. When our eyes opened at two weeks, Valeria tried to find us all homes.
I went home with my new mom and dad and had to be fed by a bottle until I was about 5 weeks old. I had bad worms and was really fearful, too - I missed my real puppy mom and brothers and sisters. When I got home, my human mom was still very sad because her other dog had just died.
We left Moscow when I was about 2 years old. I didn't like it there - the cars and traffice noises scared me too much and I couldn't run and play very much.
We live in Florida now. I had to go to obedience school to learn to behave around kids and other dogs. Now I play frisbee a lot in our garden and go for long walks in the park without my leash on! I go to the beach, too, but I'm afraid of the noise the waves make. Every Tuesday we go to the nursing home to visit my human "grandpa." He's happy to see me and I'm happy to see him always. He plays with me a lot even though he is really old!
I like to ride in the car any time I can. I've made friends with our neighbors and they come and throw the frisbee for me, too. I'm happy that lady Valeria found me and got me a good home!
P.S.: I was named after Sheremetievo Airport :-)
